Challenging times can break you and open you up to possibilities you wouldn't have considered prior ~ I'm appreciative for the flooded holiday that led me to this pathway ~ and right to what I'd been craving but didn't think was possible for me! 💫🤍🏝

Before holidays even start I know I definitely DO NOT want to go back and count down how much time I have left ~ even when I try not to, I'm still aware my freedom is ticking away! 🧭

Our 'holiday' in October 2022 was to a little fishing town on a river and was to be the tipping point to this path 🏞

I desperately wanted to relax, and I desperately wanted to change how my life was ~ as I always do ~ but holidays make it feel more urgent because I know I never want the freedom to end 👣

In the end it became an epic trip for the wrong reasons 🙃

The weather went bad before we had even finished packing, there were severe weather warnings for most of the state, the rain got heavier the closer we got to our destination… 🌧

When we arrived it was soaked and we couldn't even pick a spot or set up for hours, we had issues with our caravan in many ways, and the rain continued every day and a break in rain, was accompanied by midgies ~ I was covered in bites by the second day 🤦‍♀️

I got sick with a migraine and it felt like we were being swamped in every possible way ~ literally and figuratively!

Amongst it all, we had nice moments with some camp oven cooking, laughter and exploring yet it just wasn't what we were so desperately needing and we packed up early 🌧

We can now laugh about it (our photos don't show the more challenging of times or the hours laying in the caravan with the torrential rain) and appreciate the tipping point it was for us both ~ it was during the hours in the van that I came across the time freedom framework masterclass 🌅

I felt like I just might have stumbled on all I'd been asking for and that I finally found a bridge to close the gap between my reality and my dream life! 👩‍💻

I signed up that week to the Launch course, realised it was straight forward training and a clear framework, and Livin' the Freedom Vibe was born 🏝🤍🎉

This challenging time, as minor as it was, has become something I appreciate so much because without it, I wouldn't have pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and I would still be stuck in the same old rut... and I can now see that most challenging times, as painful as they are, can actually be the greatest clarifying moments of our lives that take us to places we wouldn't have gone otherwise!
