Does selling feeling icky to you? π§
Initially I felt bit weird about 'selling' ~ I wanted something I could do for online income but I didn't want to 'sell' ~ I didnβt want to be that person going on and on about how one particular product was life changing π€ͺ
It's why I did so much research on what type of online income would suit me ~ my lifestyle and that I would enjoy ~ because I didn't want to be 'that' person on-selling, promoting the magic 'pill or potion, etc'
Affiliate Marketing resonated because it wasn't just 'one' magic product ~ we are all different and obviously there isn't a one size fits all for every product or company out there! I didn't want to pretend there was! β¦doing this has been about being freer and more authentic ~ not tied to one product or just selling a dream and ending up more restricted than ever! π₯
I realised that I was thinking about it how I was worried others would see it ~ not how I truly felt about it π£
I love knowing what others use that have helped them ~ especially if they are like minded souls on a similar path - I actually WANT to know π€
β¦that isn't selling! β¦it's linking others to what you know works ~ that's a service, isn't it?
I guess all sales kinda are but we lose track of it when it becomes pushy or fakeβ¦ π€
β¦I'm not up for that and I know most of us aren't π
But what if there is the way of 'selling' that isn't icky ~ that helps others ~ that people want to know about? β¨οΈ
Don't you ever find yourself wanting to know where someone got something or how they did something that you are interested in?
I definitely have and that's why I felt this affiliate path was the online income path for me ~ it's individual, it's based on what I choose ~ on what aligns with my values and has benefited me π€
I WANTED to know about affiliate marketing, about online income, about a course that has a clear framework for how to set yourself up -> it felt like an answer to my prayers! π―
And I want to know where people bought their nifty caravan accessory from or blanket or dog toy - I really want to know and I especially take more notice if it's from someone in a similar situation as me (wanting time freedom, doing the lap of Aus indefinitely &/or free spirt, energetics type of living) π
β¦if you are on the fence about online income ~ you like the concept but donβt want to be 'that' salesy person either ~ maybe consider shifting how you view it π€©
β¦is it helping others?
β¦is it something that you know works and has helped you?
β¦could there be others out there desperate for such a solution?
Linking others with what has helped you on your journey can be a benefit to all involved (you, them & the creator of the product) ~ being able to help others while creating a life you love is the best type of income & not at all 'icky'! π₯
