Do you suffer Monday sadness too? π
I've ALWAYS struggled with work days - especially Monday's! I thought changing the outside situation would be the only solution - but I now realise there's more to it - and it's ME and my mindset yet again π

I've ALWAYS struggled with work days - especially Monday's! ...I always thought it was because of my situation, my job I didn't like, living in a way that hasn't had much freedom or flexibilityβ¦
...that changing the outside situation would be the only solution - and honestly I still do think it has to be part of the solution, but I now realise there's more to it - and it's ME and my mindset yet again π
...I recently realised so clearly that my mindset is a huge factor (I knew it but I didn't fully know the extent of it) - something so ingrained can be so subtle, routine or subconscious that we don't even realise how much it's effecting us
...I realise now my mindset has been a big cause of why I struggle with Monday's (& all work days) - that each Sunday night I start criticising myself for not having gotten more done, for not being further along my path, and my thoughts spiral that I'm not doing enough and I'll be stuck in this weekly cycle π
...and my thoughts continue on into the week, until days off where I try to get on top of it all - I never do fully get everything done and then the cycle starts again π€―
...I know my Monday (job) despair has helped me make changes, get clear on how I want to live and start taking steps out of my comfort zone; and now it has also helped me identify another way I've been in my own way
...with awareness comes the ability to shift so I'm actually pleased I've now realised this and can start making some intentional changes to shift out of this pattern ~ doing so will give me more energy, time, focus and space to put into my path and future β¨οΈ

If so, get clear on what it is that isn't lighting up your world (the exact details) and look at tiny steps you can start taking now to slowly shift it - even if it's journaling or appreciating or reading a mindset book - taking some action helps stop the spirals π₯
